Matthew Ball - genannt The Boogie Woogie Kid - ist ein US-amerikanischer Boogie Woogie Pianist aus Michigan im Norden der USA. Matthew Ball entdeckte den Boogie Woogie für sich erst im Jahr 2001, als er in seine Heimatstadt ein Boogie Woogie Festival besuchte. Er quittierte seinen Job als Rechtsanwalt und beschloss, Blues & Boogie Woogie Pianist zu werden, wobei ihm Mentor Bob Seeley helfend zur Seite stand.
