Durch Julian Phillips und andere wird das UK Boogie Woogie Festival im britischen Südwesten gelegenen Sturminster Newton, Dorset, organisiert. Wie es sich inzwischen für mehrtägige Festivals gehört, gibt es nicht nur abends etwas von internationalen Spitzenkräften des Boogie Woogie, Ragtimd und Blues auf die Ohren. Es wird auch tagsüber ein umfangreiches Programm u.a. mit Boogie Woogie- und Step-Tanz-Kursen, einer Boogie Woogie Piano Masterclass und Boogie Woogie History Lecture geboten.
